            Hope everyone has had a good month.  Next weekend I will be attending the area assembly in Durham.  Excited to have Ellie C. ride with me and learn more about the Area Translator position.  We will be in meetings all day Saturday and I’ll report back to you all next time at our in person meeting at St. John’s

            Dale L.  was contacted by Tryon International Equestrian Center about offering an onsite AA meeting!  Dale got some items for a new meeting together from Ray at Central Office and some AA’s in Tryon and Landrum have begun a new meeting at the Equestrian Center.  “Greener Pastures” is now meeting Wednesday and Thursday at 7pm.   The group information is on our website, Where and When, on the Meeting Guide App and Area and GSO have been notified about the new group, GSR and Alt.  GSR.  Hope to hear from them soon at one of our district meetings. 

            We had our MOVIE NIGHT last Saturday in Brevard!  It was a success.  This event around 30-40 people in attendance and the popcorn and candy were a hit.  Teri is busy with district 70 event chair planning our next event and she is working diligently on Corrections in our district.  I encourage all to consider using district funds for CPC/PI and Treatment.  These are areas where we could reach out and offer support.  Earlier this year CPC put on the 7th Day Adventists event that led to information getting out to Pastures in NC and SC.  Maybe we could get a committee together to work on reaching out to Treatment Centers in our district.  We could send out information to all the treatment centers in our area. 

            I have been super busy with my position at work that I have not had much extra time.  I feel that sometimes I should step down because of this.  I am trudging along one day at a time.  I throw out ideas to encourage others to get the word out and offer AA information throughout the community.  I work in Asheville and can always pick up stuff at central office.  We can always use the zoom account to meet and brainstorm about getting information and literature out!! 

            I will be working Saturday and Teri G has offered to chair the meeting.  Please contact me anytime for any need’s groups may have.  Grateful to be of service
