Greetings Campers!
The Great Smoky Mountain Recovery Campout is happening this fall! We are excited to get together again! There are three things included in this email so take care to read it to the end.
First, we ARE meeting Sept 17th-19th at Greenbrier Campground. See flyer attached and spread the word. Campground reservations are needed. There isn't extra parking at the campground for day campers or visitors.
Next, we'll be voting in new officers for the spring campout. We love this campout and know you do too so help us keep it going strong by taking a service commitment. We'll be holding elections and announcing the new officers before the speaker meeting on Saturday night Sept 18th. Please see the descriptions attached and let us know if you have any questions.
Lastly, reservations for next year will be opening up the first week of September. The dates for next year are June 2-5 2022 and Sept 16-18 2022. Early access opens September 1st. Registration for everyone opens September 3rd. If you'd like early access, click this link https://www.smokymountaincamping.com/early-access/ and follow the instructions. In order to gain early access you will need to send a link from the campground to your friends and family. This is a new marketing campaign through the Greenbrier Campground to give you reservation access 2 days early. If you have a favorite site, we recommend this process.
