District 71 Business Meeting

Liz was working, so Annette held meeting as Alternate DCM. Open with Serenity Prayer at 9:30 AM. Unity Breakfast was deemed an excellent success with about 60 people attending. Meeting format change which was to have a speaker on service positions every other month will be postponed until our next meeting,

Scott A : Presented information flow chart and talked about how to make sure info got to everyone who needed it.

Treasurers Report : Kennan G. : Presented treasurer spreadsheet. Ending balance of $4,351.09

Minutes from October meeting were posted on website. Motion to accept seconded and passed.

Cortrections :

In process of adding more volunteers. Taking literature to jails (English and Spanish). Distributing literature to various organizations. Donations are going well.

GSR Reprorts : Hendersonville Group will be sending Alt. GSR to area assembly on Nov. 19th and 20th. Thanksgiving Alkathon on Thanksgiving Day. (Flyer in Mountain Doings)

Ellen O made motion to bring any trips to the attention of the Dist. In a timely fashion for budgeting and reimbursement. Seconded and vote passed.

Cedar Mountain will be closing their meeting soon due to lack of participation.

Next Meeting December 10 9:30 EST in person at St. Johns
