DCM Report

Hello everyone!  It’s time for our monthly meeting again.  I spent a great deal of time this month learning to update our website, MailChimp and updating our district spreadsheet.  Before Scott left, he set up a way for the meeting change form to be sent automatically to parties affected by these changes.  Ray changes on the where and when and updates the meeting app.  And we update our website and spread sheet and MailChimp if needed.  I also logged into Fellowship connect and began reviewing what GSO has down for our district.  There are a few updates that will need to be made based on recent changes that came through.

I also reached out to the area treasurer to find out about both the surplus and the woman’s donation made. The treasurer responded that we can still make suggestions up until the end of 2022 for the women’s donation which is well over 11,000.  I am waiting to find out how that is decided upon.  We will find out before the next assembly in June what we will vote on regarding the surplus which is around 6,000.  I had sent out to everyone after the last meeting the surplus process.  The short of it is, we will vote on whether to use the money on what the budget and finance subcommittee put together after all the suggestions were compiled.  Remember if it doesn’t pass then it automatically goes to GS.  This is the process, and it is controversial, I know.  Our area inventory addresses this specifically.  Here is everyone’s opportunity to chime in on this!!!  On our website is information on area inventory.
